General laborers We are seeking general laborers to join our team. Minimum age 18
Ability to carry 50 pound bags, boxes and buckets.
Valid drivers license with a driving record that includes no more than 3 driving violations and/or chargeable accidents in the last 5 years and no DUIIs.
We submit candidates to a background check through the Bureau of Alcohol Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives to screen felony records as appropriate in compliance with federal government restrictions.
We will administer a pre-employment drug test and physical. For safety reasons, we have a zero tolerance drug policy, including marijuana use.
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
This position usually works away from home Monday through Friday.
Assists Blaster(s) in Charge in placing and detonating explosives used to loosen earth and rock
Carries explosive bags, cartridges, powder, stemming material and other supplies to blasting area and deposits in previously drilled holes as directed.
Places, with shovel or by hand, earth, aggregate or drill cuttings (“stemming”) into holes after placement of charge and tamps earth to confine detonation.
Connects explosive cord to blasting cap and lead wire to firing device.
General job site clean-up.
Fills in for Driller Helper position as needed
Performs any or all other duties as necessary to satisfy job requirements.

Equipment Operator We are looking for a full-time Equipment Operator. Job duties would include operating various equipment including, but not limited to, forklifts, skid steers, loader, excavator, Rock crusher. Operator would be required to perform equipment inspections, maintenance, and small repairs as needed. Employee may be assigned other duties in addition to or in lieu of those described above and any duties are subject to change at any time according to the needs of customer projects or the company. Wage is based on experience.
Key Responsibilities:
Learn and follow safety regulations.
Take actions to avoid potential hazards or obstructions, such as utility lines, other equipment, other workers, or falling objects.
Excavate and drill holes
Right of Way clearing and reclamation
Clean and prepare construction sites to eliminate possible hazards.
Read and interpret plans, instructions, and specifications to determine work activities
Measure, mark, and record openings and distances to lay out areas where construction work will be performed.
Perform other related duties as assigned.
Requirements:
Valid Class A Commercial Driver License (Preferred)
Valid DOT Medical Certification
Experience digging around existing utilities
Pass pre-employment and other drug screenings
Must be willing to work outdoors in all weather conditions
Compliance with OSHA and other Federal, State, and local safety regulations
